exploring the rainforst

Rainforests are fascinating places. In this session we will learn about the many plants and animals which are found in rainforests around the globe. Our focus will include beautiful butterflies, hummingbirds and many unique animals and we will learn about the various fruits and vegetables common in these temperate zones. We’ll create our own rainforest environment and discover why rainforests are so vital to
the Earth’s ecology.

land of the dinosaurs

It is always fun to find hidden treasures. With songs and games, arts and activities, our classroom and playground will be transformed into the land of the dinosaurs. The children will paper mache a sculptured dinosaur as they learn about the muscle and bone structures of these fascinating creatures that lived a long, long time ago. The children will share their hypothesis of what happened to the dinosaurs, and they will finish the week as paleontologists.

Summer Programs

  • exploring the rainforest
  • land of the dinosaurs
  • sea life
  • mighty trucks

June 25 through June 29

mighty trucks

Big trucks and little trucks what do they do?  Do they build buildings, do they carry food, or do they import cars especially for you?  Children always seem to have a fascination with anything that has a motor, axles and a steering wheel. During this week we will discover trucks, trucks, and nothing but trucks.  Don't worry - there's something for everyone! Climb on board, strap in and join us as we learn about this very important type of transportation.

July 16 through July 20

All programs are designed for children, ages 3 to 6 years old and are developmentally and socially age-appropriate.

Two program options are available this summer:

The Morning Program runs
Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 11:30am.
The cost per week is $180.00

The Full Day Program  runs
Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm.
The cost per week is $300.00

Children attending the full day program should bring a
peanut-free lunch each day.

sea life

There are countless wonders in the sea. During this week the children will explore what they might see around and near the shore.  As the week progresses we will "dive in" deeper to take a closer look at what is below the waves - mammals, fish, crustaceans, plants and more! Perhaps we will discover our own inner marine biologist? We will sing songs, create colorful crafts, share "sea worthy" stories.
