Sunrise Montessori School’s Staff

Sunrise Montessori School has a staff of 6 teachers who provide a nurturing, educational environment to 39 children in two classrooms.

All our teachers/lead teachers have a B.A. or B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education or in a related field. Lead Teachers also have their Montessori Certification from New England Montessori Teachers Education Center. This program is part of the American Montessori Society and it provides the Lead Teachers an Early Childhood Montessori credential. Sunrise Montessori School holds a full American Montessori Society membership. 

At this time, our assistant teachers are attending New England Montessori Teacher Education Center and they are working towards their Early Childhood Montessori credential. The Director and Assistant Director at Sunrise have 20+ years working in early childhood programs, both private and public. All our teachers have their CPR and First Aid certifications.
