Admission and Registration Procedures
Thank you for your interest in Sunrise Montessori School, Inc. The Montessori approach acknowledges that all children are born with unique potential and have a natural desire to learn. This educational method is based on the needs of the whole child, respects the individuality of the children, and is consciously designed to recognize and address different learning styles. The environment and activities nurture the child's sense of self, instill a love for learning, a respect for the world, and a consideration for all people.

General information
: Children must be at least 2.9 years old to enroll in our morning, afternoon or full day programs and all classrooms are comprised of mixed age groups.Our Half Day Morning Program (8:30am-11:45am or 9:00am-12:15pm) is appropriate for younger children (ages 2.9 to 4.11) and provides an introduction to the Montessori curriculum. There are a limited number of spaces for this program. Please register early.
Tuition: $4850.00 September to June
Our Half Day Afternoon Program (12:30pm-3:30pm) is appropriate for children (ages 2.9 to 6 years old) and provides an introduction to the Montessori curriculum. There are a limited number of spaces for this program. Please register early.
Tuition: $4850.00 September to June
Our Full Day Program (8:30am to 2:30pm) is designed for children, ages 2.9–6 years old. All areas of the Montessori curriculum are presented during the full day session. Enrollment priority is given to applicants requesting the full day program. Please register early.
Tuition: $8400.00 September to June
Our Extended Day Program (2:30pm to 5:30pm) is available to enrolled children via a monthly sign up basis. A flat rate of $6 per hour is charged.
Sibling discounts
: A discount of 5% is offered to families enrolling 2 or more children in our programs. This discount is applied to the total tuition charged per family.Enrollment Priority:
Currently enrolled children and their siblings are given priority during the enrollment period -(December through mid-January). After this date, available spaces for the current year or for the 2010-2011 academic year will be filled by open enrollment applicants.
Open Enrollment: Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis throughout the year until all spaces have been filled. Applicants for the full day program are given enrollment priority. After all available spaces have been filled, a wait list is established.
Application Form and Questionnaire
: An application form and questionnaire must be completed for each child considering enrollment. Our application fee of $50 is a one time only fee for new children enrolling in our programs. This fee is not refundable and is not applicable towards tuition. The fee does not apply to currently enrolled children.Acceptance and Confirmation for Newly Enrolling Families
: Upon acceptance, families will receive a confirmation letter and are required to pay a $500.00 deposit to hold their enrollment space. This payment is a non-refundable place holding deposit and is applicable to tuition. There are two payment options for tuition.Option 1: provides a 5% discount to the total tuition charged

: In the case of late registration, a tuition payment schedule will be determined by the Director and will follow a schedule similar to the dates listed above.Payments
: Invoices and account statements are mailed to your home or emailed to the address you provide approximately 15 days before the payment is due. Tuition payments are due on the dates listed above or as listed on your family’s tuition agreement. If tuition payments are not received by the due date, Sunrise Montessori School, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw the child from enrollment until all payments are up to date. Invoices which are unpaid after 15 calendar days past their original due date are subject to a late fee of $25.00All checks should be made payable to
